La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Phoenix North

I would like to submit a review on a number of my observations in a span of 5 days as a guest. The physical hotel itself is definately worth the money. Yes there are stains on the carpeting and the furniture has seen younger years. The pool area is wonderful. The breakfasts daily were delicious. The thing I feel compelled to recognize are the staff and some of the guests. I am leaving today shocked at how unkind, rude and entitled some guests are. Today I saw a guest complain with such distain that there were no bagels. The lady who serves up the breakfasts most mornings kindly told him they were out. In anger he loudly went off on her as if there was no other food. As if this wasn't enough, he marched off to the front desk staff and again in anger caused a scene about there being no bagels carrying on in front of other guests as he left the front doors. Unfortunately this was not the only incident I saw demonstrating guests who appear to have a sense of entitlement. I wish I would not have seen this my last morning here as it is very disheartening to see how rude people can be. The staff here are doing the best that they can. Let us remember that the residual effects of Covid remain and what I speak of is the continuous staff shortages in nearly every sector of our communities. Definately worth mentioning is the help I received from the staff at this hotel when my rental car battery was dead. The office staff and maintenance man set in motion to help me. I would have had to wait over an hour for roadside assistance when I was in a hurry to get to my destination. Perfection rarely exists. The people working here are doing the best they can, and aren't we all really? Just. Be. Kind.

We came to this property after leaving another one because it was awful. First impressions of this place were very good even though our expectations were pretty much in the basement at this point. We arrived late night but the property felt safe and was well lit. A little confusing to navigate at first but once you get it you'll have no issues getting around. the guy at the front desk was very helpful during the entire check in process. the room was very well kept and clean. the AC was extremely powerful while being fairly quiet which is always a plus. The included breakfast had a good selections and the quality was pretty good for what it was. The attendant was a bit short but everyone has those days. Overall a great experience and would definitely stay here again.

It's not so bad the lady that checked me in was amazing extremely nice and helped me out. Thank u. Next door is a 7-11 right off the freeway. Very busy place ppl at the front desk r really kind. U can reserve a room and then pay for it once u get there and pay. Price isn't that bad really. Clean rooms clean property. Will definitely stay here again.

Staff were very friendly and had no problems with the room.

Great location, princes are fair. My only complaint is no hot water. Barley warm showers.

Judy at the front desk gives the kind of customer service that you would expect from a five star hotel. She was so prompt, accommodating, and knowledgeable. I was very stressed I came to the lobby, however, Judy’s phenomenal customer service and energy calmed me down and make me feel so much better in such a short period of time!! I’m so grateful for Judy and the team here at this hotel.

We had an amazing stay. Bed was comfortable, clean. Lol, couldn't get the coffee maker in the room to work but just went down to the dining room and got my coffee fix.

Nicole at the front desk was amazing. Rather than making me feel silly about questions or less human for having a budget and helped me get creative to avoid tying up monies unnecessarily. The maintenance man borrowed his brothers car to help me jump my battery at 7AM one morning. As far as people taking care of people, they’re doing it!
